    The author of the book "Between the sky and the land" intervied Marek Rona, the artist who created most of the paintings in the collection of Firma Gotowski writes: "[...] No doubt he does admire the footbridge called K-2 [...]. At the first glance it seems you are not in the city centre but in some magic wilderness with the crystal water sparkling among the trees. The artist often stops at the Independence Viaduct on the East-West Route in Bydgoszcz. He admires the strength of the structure which lets a man fly over the land".

    "— These are unusual bridges — Marek Rona used to say. — I got fascinated with their shapes, number of details and symbiosis of tradition and modern times. Even accidental passers-by notice that they have been magically included in the picturesque corners of Bydgoszcz as if they had been here for ages, making indissoluble unity".
